Email Signature

The newsletter template uses Georgia (serif) and Arial (sans-serif) rather than the brand’s primary typefaces, Adobe Garamond Pro and Elza. This is intentional.

Adobe Garamond Pro and Elza are specialty fonts licensed through Adobe Fonts — they render beautifully on the web and in design software, but aren’t installed on most computers by default. A Word document that relies on them would fall back to system defaults for anyone who doesn’t have the fonts, breaking the layout and feel of the piece.

Georgia and Arial are universally available across Windows, Mac, and most mobile devices. Georgia is a close tonal match for Adobe Garamond Pro — both are classic, high-readability serifs with old-style proportions — while Arial provides the same clean, neutral counterpoint that Elza serves in digital contexts. The result is a newsletter that looks polished and on-brand on every machine, without requiring font installation.
